Aeration

Aeration

Let Your Lawn Breathe

Aeration is the process of pulling small plugs of soil from the lawn to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn.

The main reason for aerating is to help alleviate soil compaction. Compacted soils do not allow for volume or space, which prevents proper circulation of air, water, and nutrients within the soil.

Aeration is best done during Spring and Fall.
